      I am an author, editor, reader, reviewer, lover of words.

      Editing my first mainstream fiction novel has proven that one, two or three drafts are not enough. I continue to rewrite and edit. When it's ready and the characters stop screaming in my head, it will be done.
      My children's book is living with the illustrator. Progress is being made though I find artists are a very particular sort. Details are important to the extent that one line out of place changes the whole perspective. I will be patient because the initial digital drawings are well worth the wait.
      A young adult fantasy novel is my newest work in progress. Which means I have another circle of imaginary friends vying for my attention. 
      Such is the life of a fiction writer.

      When I'm not lost in my own words, I edit and proofread  manuscripts, design layouts and polish covers, read and review books in all genres.
      It's all about the words.
